We are looking to hire a leader of the culinary team for our Private Club located 30 minutes north west of Boston. The Executive Chef will train and manage kitchen personnel and supervise/coordinate all related culinary activities.
The Chef is responsible for all food ordering and inventories, food quality and consistency, planning and developing menus for a la carte dining and function menus with many seasonal changes, recipe development, standardize production recipes to ensure consistent quality, establish presentation and quality standards ensure proper equipment operation/maintenance, and ensure proper safety and sanitation in kitchen for both an upscale creative fine dining restaurant, casual dining and banquets.
The Executive Chef directly supervises kitchen personnel (banquet chef, sous chef, line employees) with responsibility for hiring, discipline, performance reviews. Prefer a minimum of five - ten years of experience cooking in UPSCALE/HIGH VOLUME dining establishment. Qualified candidates with a passion for food should apply immediately.
