Chef-Vermont Full Service Upscale Inn
The landmark Middlebury Inn in Middlebury,Vt is looking for a working Executive Chef with a passion for delicious and visually appealing food to be a team leader in our 72 room full-service hotel.
The Middlebury Inn is located in beautiful central Vermont near Middlebury College, roughly halfway between Burlington and Rutland, VT. We offer a full service Food & Beverage operation serving three meals per day, afternoon tea and offering spectacular weddings and catered events in a variety of banquet room settings.
We seek a hands on Chef who is comfortable behind the line, producing excellent banquets, directing employees to perform to their highest potential, who can control labor, food costs and waste, and use the season's freshest ingredients from the surrounding area. The chef will have significant creative freedom and must have the ability to be a part of a team that desires to build F&B revenues.
All facets of food service at the Inn are the responsibility of our Chef who must create menus, be energetic, forward thinking and personable. Experience in successful restaurants and banquet service is a must. Experience as an owner/operator is a plus.
