Adelina's Bistro and Market Place, located at Trilogy Monarch Dunes Resort, is searching for a highly motivated, performance oriented, Executive Chef to complete its TEAM. This is a hands-on salaried position responsible for overseeing the day-to-day culinary operations of the Monarch Club.
Qualifications: - Minimum two years as an Executive Chef or Executive Sous Chef, a certificate level of Certified Chef de Cuisine or higher from the American Culinary Federation, or successful completion of nationally ranked Culinary or Vocational School; or the equivalent combination of education and experience - Strong team-building skills including the ability to lead, cooperate, motivate, and contribute as part of a team with representatives from multiple disciplines - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Able to work well under pressure and balance multiple priorities and assignments - Excellent knowledge of fresh products and ensure the highest quality of food - Proficiency in POS, time clock manager and related computer skills - Commitment to continuous improvement and growth
Job Functions and Responsibilities: - Deliver a memorable dining experience for all members and guests. - Hiring, training and development of all kitchen staff through education and creative instruction - Coordinates the ordering and monitoring of all food product and kitchen wares - Ensures standardization of recipes, plate presentation and engineering for a la carte venues and catered events - Maintains the proper contribution margin in alignment with budgeted standards - Ensure that area of operation and equipment are maintained in a clean and safe environment - Provides a safe and enjoyable working environment for the food service staff
