Position Description:
Burntside Lodge is a seasonal restaurant/wilderness lodge in Northern Minnesota seeking talented Line Cooks to join our team. Our restaurant serves Modern American cuisine with a rustic European influence. All of our meats are sourced from local ranches and farmers and we use local produce whenever possible. We are a destination restaurant and have been included in 1000 Places to See Before You Die and we have been featured in Country Home Magazine. We take a great deal of pride in our food and drink and have received the Wine Spectator Award of Excellence for 15+ years. Our family owned environment fosters creativity and encourages excellence.
We are looking for self-motivated, detail-oriented Line Cooks to continue strengthening our reputation for fresh, high quality cuisine. Candidates must have good knife skills, an understanding of proper food handling/cooking procedures including sauteing, grilling etc. and have a GREAT attitude. A minimum of 3 years cooking experience is preferred. Our season extends from the mid-May through the end of September.
