The Boston office, Back Bay executive dining operation in Prudential Center complex is seeking a full-time cook for its privately run restaurant, serving clients and employees. We have a full service kitchen and are run independently, with no contract food services. All food service personnel are employed directly by the firm and receive a competitive salary, generous employee benefits, paid time off and an enviable Monday through Friday schedule.
Cook: Responsibilities include preparing meals, assisting in daily and event menu planning, purchasing, inventory control and working in all related food production services.
Background and Skills: Several years of restaurant, catering, and/or food and beverage experience; recent graduates of culinary art schools will be considered; strong interest in creative food preparation; ability to handle multiple assignments and deal in a positive manner with co-workers at all levels of firm personnel; Word and Excel skills helpful. Works under direction of the Chef/Food Service Manager.
Hours are Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. - 3 p.m. with overtime opportunity for special events.
