Seeking a chef who can take the helm of a new restaurant on Park Ave South located in a boutique hotel with a charming rooftop terrace. We are looking for someone with culinary experience under the guidance of reputable chefs, who is now ready to take the plunge to run his or her own kitchen as Executive Chef. This is an excellent opportunity for you to make a name for yourself in the press and among your peers, opening doors to your future. You need to be ambitious, self-motivated and wholly dedicated to the culinary arts with a creative finesse, but above all, a leader who will keep the troops motivated and inspired, both in the kitchen and the front of the house, with patience, respect and humility. The concept: Italian inspired cuisine with a focus on seasonal and local ingredients. Since New York has really seen it all, we are hoping to find someone who can put a fresh spin on these tried and true flavors by developing a truly original menu that evokes memories of grandmas kitchen but feels uniquely current.
