An internship at StarChefs.com will provide a strong foundation for your career in print and design, including experience in video production, photography, and coding.
Our design intern will help develop concepts and layouts for ads, collateral pieces, 1 major 300 page book and 4 smaller booklets per year , invitations, signage, etc. In addition, they will assist in the following:
-Preparing layouts for pre-press -Gathering bids from and negotiating with vendors -Designing feature panels for two monthly newsletters -Corresponding with printers to provide creative direction on paperstock, color specifications, folds, die-cuts, etc.
Our team includes a senior designer, photographer, developer, and video editor. You will be able to rotate through other areas of the department (photography, video, and coding) as your interest leads. Knowledge of HTML, Drupal, Adobe Lightroom, FinalCut Pro is a major plus.
This is an unpaid position, but we have hired many of our former interns. We are happy to provide assistance in receiving school credit
