We are seeking an experienced manager to lead and run a new high profile cafe at Arena Stage. Ensures that the cafe operates efficiently and profitably. Creates and maintains a positive and professional work environment. The successful candidate should be a highly motivated professional, with proven ability to establish excellent working relationships with various team members. Maintain excellent relationships with the client and their guests. Operates within the budget and identifies new ways to improve the development of the business. Carries out training and development of all staff to enable them to carry out their own duties and responsibilities. Participates in employee meetings, reviews and development. Ensures compliance with proper sanitation and cleaning standards. Hires, trains and schedules staff and is actively involved in the development of existing associates in service techniques, menu presentation, policies, and procedures. Menu development and marketing functions as they relate to the cafe. Performs related duties and special projects as assigned. Qualifications: A bachelors degree is preferred, or equivalent professional experience. A minimum of 2-4 years of experience in hospitality industry. Experience with cash handling procedures. Strong knowledge of food.
