Job Specifications:
Responsible and accountable for all restaurant activities and operations and assumes complete responsibility for the restaurant. Responsible for effective scheduling and ensuring that store is properly staffed.
Work in conjunction with Executive Chef to ensure all employees (front-of-the-house and back-of-the-house) are performing their job responsibilities and meeting expectations in all areas of their job descriptions.
Manage front-of-the-house staff and coordinate all communications between front-of-the-house staff with back-of-the-house staff.
Ensure business and personnel practices are within the law and consistent with policies and procedures; has thorough knowledge of, and enforces all labor laws (federal, state and local).
Maintain entire restaurant (equipment, facility & grounds) at the level necessary to meet or exceed the company standards for Quality, Service, Cleanliness and Safety.
Organize and oversee PR/media/marketing initiatives in conjunction with design and marketing team.
Control Profit & Loss by following cash control/security procedures, overseeing inventory & ordering, managing labor, reviewing financial reports, and taking appropriate actions.
Consistently provide a customer service experience that delivers total customer satisfaction; create an environment in which the customer is always right.
Respond positively and quickly to customer concerns and correct potential problems before they affect customers; ensure all employees are trained, motivated and empowered to deliver total customer satisfaction.
Continuously improves the skills, knowledge and morale of all employees and treats the employees with dignity and respect creating an environment where the entire team does the same.
Evaluates each employee's performance based on clearly communicated standards and expectations, holds the employees accountable for performance and confronts poor performance.
Qualifications:
College or University Degree Preferred Minimum 3 -5 years supervisory experience in a food service environment, including Profit & Loss responsibility Basic business math and accounting skills Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills Good oral/written communication skills
