We currently seek a reputable Executive Dining/Restaurant Manager for one of our multi-faceted locations. The ideal candidate will share in our belief in the quality value of delivering superior hospitality to our premier clients.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the effective execution of service in the Executive Dining Room/Restaurant of a corporate dining account assisting the Manager in all aspects of dining room service. Always ensuring that the Standards of Excellence, as determined by Restaurant Associates and the client are met. Additional responsibilities include but not limited to the following: *Hire, train, and develop all FOH restaurant staff in fine dining service standards. *Maintain schedules, payroll and other administrative support to maintain food and beverage cost controls including inventory and pars. *Organize and conduct pre-shift and departmental meetings daily. *Maintain communication with all departments to ensure customer service needs are met. *Create seating charts and station assignments daily, following up with support staff of daily expected business. *Maintain all reservation systems and book to accommodate business demands *Create side work assignments and ensure completion with wait staff *Excellent written and verbal communication skills *Maintain highest level of client/guest satisfaction *Maintains cleanliness and presentation of dining room area *Ensures the highest level of service to clients and their guests. *Investigates and resolves all client/guest complaints in a timely, professional, diplomatic manner. *Professional appearance and demeanor required.
Qualifications: *Bachelors Degree preferably in hospitality, or equal fine dining experience *5 years of upscale fine dining with at least 3 year of management *Cash handling and reconciliation of cash banks and POS systems *Ability to hire, develop, train, coach and counsel hourly associates *Excellent knowledge of customer service techniques and current service standards *Must be able to remain poised and focused under pressure *Knowledge of basic office programs, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, as well as reservations systems: Opentable and Tabletop. *Must be able to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening
