Position Description:
Vermilion (New York & Chicago) HOT NEW upscale indian-latin contemporary restaurant, opening in the heart of midtown Manhattan and established downtown Chicago, interviewing for 3 positions ASAP. Vermilion has won multiple accolades (Best New Restaurants - USA Today, Bon Appetit, Town & Country, Travel & Leisure, Chicago Magazine, Wine Enthusiast; 3 stars Chicago Tribune, WSJ, Fortune profiles) and NY will be a highly visible opening.
1. GM - for new New York space and opening, highly experienced, top-tier fine dining background, runs a tight ship with amazing service model. Hospitality training a must.
2. CDC or Sous Chef with Indian cooking skills (in Chicago and New York) role likely to evolve over time. Culinary training a must.
3. Event planner for Chicago location, solid proven sales skills and book of business
