Position Description:
Banquet Chef de Partie. Must possess strong culinary skills in at least one of the kitchen sections. Ensure the quality preparation of all menu items. Must understand the fundamentals of food and labor cost controls. Ensure the proper handling / storage of all food items in accordance with hotel standards and sanitation/health regulations. Experience: Must have 3 years experience in 4 or 5 Star hotel. Education: Culinary qualification preferred. Lifting required.
The hotel opening is scheduled for October 2005. We are looking for experienced candidates and requesting a two-year commitment from opening team members, based on an approved work permit. To obtain a work permit, candidates must have a clean bill of health and no criminal background. Eligible workers are allowed to have dependants accompany them provided they have a minimum household earning of US$4,300 per month. Benefits and compensation details will be discussed during the application process. Interviews will commence in June/July.
